Active Staffing Resources is seeking experienced Production Supervisors for direct hire opportunities with leading manufacturing companies throughout the Philadelphia area. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, promote a culture of safety, and ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production employees to achieve daily production goals.
- Plan, organize, and monitor workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to meet operational demands.
- Train, coach, and mentor production employees to improve performance and engagement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production reports, labor records, and shift documentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and workforce management.
- Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or manufacturing software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
