Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production goals, quality standards, safety requirements, and efficiency targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to maximize productivity and performance.
- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment downtime, and process inefficiencies.
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production Planning teams.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, scrap, and downtime.
- Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Physical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits
