Active Staffing Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a growing company in Lansdale, PA, and the Greater Philadelphia area. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with customers, managing billing processes, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on time
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor aging reports
• Post customer payments, credit memos, and adjustments
• Follow up on outstanding balances and communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate customer records and payment histories
• Generate accounts receivable and collection reports for management
• Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve invoice issues
• Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, cash applications, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
